Ultimately, it’s my love for wood and its inherent God-given properties that ignites my passion. I strive to provide form and function, allowing wood to speak for itself, similar to how pieces in the gallery in Gig Harbor showcase artistic craftsmanship.

My passion for woodworking ignited after receiving a toolbox from my dad, leading me into the cabinetry industry. However, I found it restrictive and uninspiring. After retiring, I embraced my true passions, emphasizing the intrinsic beauty of wood. My newest obsession with the lathe enables me to create pieces that highlight exceptional figure, spalting, knots, and unique grain patterns, much like the stunning Gig Harbor paintings that capture the essence of nature.
