My connection to nature started young.
Growing up in a fishing family, I spent much of my childhood on the coast. The boat was my home, the beach was an expansive backyard, and the coastal forests and meadows were boundless playgrounds.
That connection persists as an adult. When I stray too far from the coast, she pulls me back, as if an invisible, unbreakable thread binds us. It is there that I find joy, inspiration, peace, and a sense of overwhelming awe at all that the natural world offers.
I create photographs to share not just what I see, but what I feel when I’m in these sacred places. Each image is an invitation to experience the connection. Because exhilaration, serenity, and childlike wonder are things we can all use more of in our busy grown-up lives.
