What began in 1984 as a small group of local artists seeking a year-round space to share their work has grown into a vibrant collective of artists - painters, photographers, ceramic artists, woodworkers,  mixed-media creators, and other - whose work reflects the character, beauty, and spirit of the Pacific Northwest. 

As an artist-run gallery, every member plays an active role in curating the space, greeting visitors, and maintaining an atmosphere where creativity and connection can thrive.  This cooperative model ensures that guests connect directly with the artists behind the work, bringing authenticity, meaning, and personal connection to every visit.

For more than four decades, Ebb Tide has been part of Gig Harbor’s creative fabric. From its early days on Harborview Drive to its current home on Pioneer Way, the gallery has collaborated with local arts organizations, supported community events, and helped sustain local art.
