About the exhibit...
I started learning to listen as a child, spending summer nights aboard my parents’ boat. As I drifted off to sleep, the lapping of water against the hull of the boat told me stories - of adventure and intrigue, of mystery and delight, small joys tucked into the rhythm of the tide.
It wasn’t until much later that I learned to listen with my other senses. The earth also shares its tales through light and shadow, carries meaning on the wind, and sometimes slips in a quiet lesson with the scent of salt air or earthy forest. Sometimes practical, often fanciful—always worth hearing.
I capture those fleeting stories, best I can, through my photography. In this exhibit, I share the stories that I heard as I pressed the shutter. The story you hear may be different, and that’s the magic. All I ask is that you take a moment, lean in, and listen.
Showing through September.

We’re thrilled to continue Ebb Tide's Summer Showcase - an exciting new program celebrating the talent and creativity of our local art community! Each month this summer, we’ll showcase the work of a local guest artist hand-selected by gallery members to bring new dimensions of color and light to our walls. It’s our way of encouraging emerging local artists and highlighting some of the incredible talent that surrounds us.
Are YOU a local artist who would like to be considered for gallery space this summer? Stop into the gallery, give us a call, or drop us an email for more information.
This month, we're delighted to feature the art of Kelly Allard.

Ebb Tide continues to add new, amazing
artists to its roster. Meet Hank Church.
After a decade exploring the vivid deserts of Arizona and the coastlines, rolling hills, and mountain ranges of California, Hank returned home—drawn back by the pull of familiar faces and the landscapes that first
sparked my interest in photography.
His images seek to inspire viewers of to pause and begin to see what often goes unnoticed: the quiet interplay of lines, shapes, and colors that can transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.
Guided by an enduring fascination with architecture and abstraction, Hank approaches each image as a discovery rather than a plan. By revealing hidden harmonies and unexpected perspectives, he aims to shift how people perceive their surroundings—and to remind them that art isn’t confined to galleries;
it’s everywhere - if we just stop to look.
For more about Hank and to see his work,
take a look at his Artist Page.
