Summer Hours Begin! Starting Sunday, May 24th, we will open at 10:00am every day!

I am an artist. I feel it in my soul. But it has taken a lifetime to say it and mean it, and to live it.
Doubts started at a young age, when a teacher told me I had no talent. Yet, you cannot deny what your heart tells you, and I’ve always found a way to create. I drew, painted, sketched. Always as a hobby and an outlet. I started Art School after high school, but Viet Nam curtailed that. Life went on, yet the yearning persisted.
Finally, I found a way to combine my art with a vocation when my amazingly talented partner, Jerry Kidd, and I started a business creating art on cement floors! It was fulfilling work, artistic expression, and an income all together. Joy!
Retirement and grandkids brought my wife and I from California to the Pacific Northwest.
Now, in this time and place, I am finally able to devote myself to what has been my passion all along – being a true creator! I am discovering acrylics, and a whole new way to paint. While I love to capture the beauty, serenity, and colors of nature in landscapes, I also enjoy playing with lighting, movement, and textures. And I am open to where this journey is taking me.
At this moment later in life, it is a blessing! And it seems to be reflected in my paintings and felt by those viewing them. In just one year, I’ve been accepted into multiple juried shows in Washington and California, have won awards, and have even sold a few pieces! I never dreamed that my art would touch others so deeply – well, maybe I did dream it but didn’t think it would be my reality someday.
