Chuck Flewelling is a self-educated photographer influenced by the observation and study of nature. He has been a photography hobbyist since high school. After moving to Western Washington some 20 years ago, his hobby has evolved into something more substantial. 

After over 30 years as a health care professional, Chuck is now enjoying retirement, but that hasn’t slowed his creative endeavors. These days, he and his wife will frequently take day trips to hike, beachcomb, or kayak. The road they travel could lead anywhere in the PNW – Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the Columbia River Gorge, the Pacific Coast, the San Juan Islands, etc. His images reflect the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest - cascading waterfalls, Pacific beach sunrises and sunsets, wildlife and birds, brilliant floral displays, and so much more.
